From 5–10 October 2025, the 20th SDEWES Centre Conference brought together 785 participants from 68 countries in Dubrovnik to explore sustainable solutions for global challenges. We’re proud to share that our EcoDaLLi partners from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture contributed to this vibrant exchange of ideas, representing both the EcoDaLLi Project as well as DaWetRest. On 9 October, they presented “Nature-Based Solutions in the Danube River Basin – Guidelines for Implementers.” On 10 October, they showcased the EcoDaLLi project at the SDEWES Project Exchange event.
A special highlight was the session “Harnessing the Resource Potential of Our Seas, Waters, and Rivers in a Sustainable Manner”, organized by Prof. Hrvoje Mikulčić and Dr. Filip Jurić. It focused on the transformative role of Blue Energy in the sustainable energy transition and its alignment with the EU Mission to Restore Our Oceans and Waters.
